holidays, part i.

Here are some pictures from California, as promised. This first part is from Christmas day. We opened presents in the morning and went for a walk later. The weather was pretty nice, if a bit on the cold side, but what else do you expect on Christmas? It's weird being up north where the sun sets earlier.

This is a really cute independent book store in the town square that I've been to before.

That up there, folks, is the largest wooden yo-yo in the world. It really works! I know what you're thinking, and yes, you do need to go add this to your bucket list right now.

  1. *mentally added to the bucket list*

  2. What beautiful photographs Kendell! Merry (belated) Christmas!

    P.S That Yoyo is HUGE!

  3. I want to go to California.
Also, that yoyo is incredible! I can't even yoyo {is that a verb?} properly so I'll have to practice first.

  4. I want to go to California! Actually, I might as well move there.

Independent bookstores are my favorite. We need more in Indiana.

  5. lovely pictures! and the yo-yo: WHOA.
    hey, that rhymed :)

Hey, you. Be nice.
