signs of a successful valentine's day

The number one way to tell if you had a successful Valentine's Day is if there are candy wrappers littered everywhere and your stomach feels like it's going to explode. Yes? Yes.

Also, like love or something but that's not really as important when you think of food.

I myself got a jelly doughnut, two pink cupcakes, many many assorted chocolates and candies, and some nice cards from my all too generous friends. Such as this one:

Happy Valentine's Day, kids. Stay classy.

i agree -- love is nothing compared to chocolate. can love melt in your mouth? no.

  2. Food is far better than love.
My mum got these amazing brownies that had, like, caramel or something in them, and you heated them up and they went all gooey. They were actually for my parents but they very kindly shared them with me. And my mum gave me a smoothie and some daffodils, as a Valentines. Which sounds mental, but was lovely, because I'd never got a Valentines before, ever, from anyone.

  3. Hahahaha! This made me feel slightly better for lounging in bed, eating chocolates all day whilst contemplating my forever alone-ness... :3

  4. Chocolate>love, always.
I got a massive bag of M&Ms from my parents, and I'm waiting till Saturday to see what Aaron got me (I mean, if he got me anything. As far as boys go, he's pretty good about stuff like that). And I'm gonna buy myself like three books today. So that's nice.
