may the fourth be with you.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I never miss an opportunity to randomly invoke pop culture into my daily life! In case you hadn't noticed, this is going to be one of those posts where the title has nothing to do with the actual content. It will, however, be in four parts. Moving swiftly on.

1. Sunday was Lemonade Day so my sister and some of her friends set up a lemonade stand. I bought some to show my support (and 'cause I was thirsty, whatever). Surprise, surprise, I also took photos that prompted some weird looks. "Why are you taking pictures of the lemonade?" Sigh. Some people just don't get it. ;)

2. Oh! Guess who now has Lightroom 3? Me!

...Well, for 30 days. (Details, details.)

Heh. Experimenting with it is fun. I'm still trying to figure out everything... I'm not the best with technology, okay? But I think I can take it. So if anyone would like to give me some advice or point me toward some helpful tutorials, it would be very much appreciated. :) I want to make the most out of it while I have it.

3. Here. Have some cake. Just because. :)

4. So, today I went on a field trip with a class that I don't have. Because I'm just that cool. No, actually I took that class last year but had to still go because everyone else in the freshman class went. We went to a Hindu temple, a Muslim mosque and a Jewish synagogue. It was pretty cool; I like learning about other religions/cultures and especially visiting them. We had to take our shoes off at the temple and mosque, and at the mosque we had to separate into boys and girls because they aren't supposed to really interact. Isn't that interesting? Have you ever visited someplace like that, that's different than what you're used to? What were your thoughts?

Anyway, I really should go now. This has been a terrible, rushed post. Talk to you later. :)

  1. Hehehe, I hate Star Wars and am constantly shunned by my friends for it. x)

  2. I've never seen Star Wars, but my English teacher loves it and we were surprised when she showed us a 1998 Midsummer Night's Dream yesterday rather than acting out the series with a ruler and a lot of passion. That has happened before.
And the creepy why-are-you-taking-pictures-of-that look? It's awful and it's so common!
