an almost-spring winter's day
We didn't have school on Monday, so my friends came over and we walked to the track to fly kites and take pictures. It was a nice break and made me optimistic that spring is coming.
I forget what sunshine looks like (it was SNOWING when I ran this morning. SNOWING.) but these make me hopeful too that spring is coming. Even if it's only arriving in Texas, at least it's arriving somewhere!
We literally don't have spring here. There's a transition period between winter and summer involving slush and rain, but no real spring. These snippets of spring make my heart happy.
