the kite festival

I went to the Kite Festival downtown this afternoon for a bit. There were so many people there; easily several thousand. It was another gorgeous day here in Texas -- blue sky, nice temperature, windy. Perfect for kite-flying.

Since there were so many people, my dad and I parked a few miles away and biked to the park. I swear, I've gotten more exercise this weekend than the entire past few months. It's kind of sad, and I'm kind of sore, but it's all worth it.

Homework is done, so now it's relaxation time. One week until Spring Break!

  4. I wish I could have gone, but instead, I baked a cake and made a huge dragonfly as volunteer work.
But I had to clean too, yuck.

  6. a kite festival sounds like some really dope thing that only happens in story books. i wish it was that beautiful here, it's nice, not rainy or cloudy, and can get pretty warm but i'm still wearing some sweaters:(.
